Another twelve months have flashed by and somehow it’s December again and nearly Christmas. I am sure for many Australians this is not a surprise.  I’m equally sure there are others, like me, in a mild panic over where 2011 went!  And more importantly what happened to November, and my determined plans to be at least vaguely organised this year…

I really should know better. Retail is even more passionate than my family about Christmas – and this is not a comparison to be taken lightly! Kate and the kids excelled themselves this year with our tree & decorations in pride of place by early November. My family has a commitment to festivity that I find either heart-warming or slightly disturbing, depending on my mood

It’s an exciting day! We are pleased to welcome the Margaret River area of WA into the Coles online family as well as Grafton NSW! Both of these regions have astounding beauty in the way of beaches and forests.

It’s that time again when we proudly discuss the latest addition to our Coles online family. This week we welcomed Toormina, Coffs Harbour from Scotts Head up the coast to Woolgoola and in to Valery NSW to our delivery run. This usually warm, sunny part of the nation was raining when we arrived, but you know what they say, it’s good luck to have rain on your wedding day.

Do you, the people of Toormina, take us, the very handsome Coles Online, to order and deliver, to personal shop and to smile from this day forward? WE DO! There wasn’t any wedding dresses but there was still a party, cake and welcoming of new team members and customers into our family.

Toot toot! We have just put our vans on the road in Wagga Wagga NSW and we are so excited to meet our new team and customers in this interesting part of the nation. Let’s learn a bit more about the city and the Coles online people in it.

Wagga is the largest inland city in NSW with over 60,000 citizens and was actually considered to become Australia’s capital city as it is an equal distance between Sydney and Melbourne. It was first explored by European explorer Charles Sturt in 1829 and has a great deal of early colonial history associated with the town. The town also has played host to a number of military bases.
