Toot toot! We have just put our vans on the road in Wagga Wagga NSW and we are so excited to meet our new team and customers in this interesting part of the nation. Let’s learn a bit more about the city and the Coles online people in it.
Wagga is the largest inland city in NSW with over 60,000 citizens and was actually considered to become Australia’s capital city as it is an equal distance between Sydney and Melbourne. Here at Coles online we pride ourselves in our great customer service and providing the best possible grocery home delivery experience.
So you place your Coles online order and sit back and think “how on Earth does my shopping get done”. Well I’m here to give you a behind the scenes tour of how our hard working teams wave their magic wands and become your shopping fairies… sort of speak. It really is an amazing system that makes life easier for everyone.
Have you noticed our Coles online vans driving around your neighbourhood and wondered why they each have individual names? “James”, “Vince”, “Sam”, “Andrea” and so on? When dinning with friends, having a drink with mates or simply entertaining a social chat, there is one question that is constantly asked of me as soon as the conversation turns to work.
“What’s with the names on your Coles online delivery vans?”
We are pretty excited in the office at the moment. Why? Well because we have just launched our online deliveries into Rockhampton! When we open new delivery areas we get really excited to meet lots of new friends and help a new area of people conveniently order their shopping giving them time back to spend doing the things they love.
Rockhampton is a particularly interesting area of the country as it is the beef capital of Australia and a large mining area that experiences over 300 days of sunshine a year…. that’s a far cry from what it’s like in Melbourne. Many families experience tough working hours which makes doing grocery shopping that little bit more difficult… but not any more! They can relax at home with a coffee in their PJ’s and let Coles Online do all the work. What more could busy, hard working Aussies ask for? Read more…
