Spring racing, and in particular the Melbourne cup, is a time of big hats, cocktail food, excitement, fancy shoes and sore feet, heads and wallets (in some instances). Friends and colleagues get together for a bit of a flutter and a few nibbles while the race runs.

I was pretty excited to be able to meet Nigel who has worked with so many celebrities from Kelly Osborne to Olivia Newton John to Bryan Adams and Ronan Keating just to name a few. I am the pregnant woman in the office. Currently I am 7 months pregnant and I have begun to waddle to and from my desk and in and out of meetings all the while thinking about what I will next eat! I heard that some women crave things like pickles and icecream, that craving hasn’t hit me yet.

In early pregnancy, when my hunger really hit an all time high, I am convinced my desk buddy thought I had some weird infatuation with food.  Not only did I need to eat every couple of hours, but each time someone bought some food into the office I would sniff it out and demand to know what it was.
