I have a couple of Dads in my life, my Dad and my hubby. I’m planning to cook up a storm for the day to show them how much the kids and I appreciate them and to celebrate Dads and all they do.

It’s hard to beat the classics so keep it traditional with decadent chocolate mousse and brownies. Teamed together they are decadent dessert.
Impossible pies are perfect for those times when you arrive home and haven’t had a chance to think about dinner. The beauty of these pies is that you don’t need to be a pastry chef. The crust is created all by itself. They are so simple that the kids can whip up dinner and dessert in no time at all. My 5 year old made this Lemon Impossible Pie and my 7 year old made this Savoury Impossible Pie.
When we started this blog, we were very adamant that it would be amateur chefs cooking the recipes, and all failures and burnt bits would be shown. And really, whenever anything has gone wrong we’ve been able to adjust and fix it up, suitable to serve to family and friends.
