Egg Eye Toast

This morning I made a breakfast dish that my Dad used to make for me and my brother & sister when I was a kid.  My Dad used to make these Saturday mornings and called them “One-Eyed Egyptians”. I’m not sure where the name came from.  And asking around, people know this breakfast delight as many different names – toad in the hole, sunshine toast and egg in a basket to name just a few.

Easter traditions shared

Over the last week or so I have been helping run the Coles online Easter Egg Hunt.  Which has been a lot of fun.  It’s been great to meet a lot of new people  who’ve really enjoyed the thrill of the hunt.  Which made me wonder what other people do to celebrate Easter. It also prompted me to think and plan what we would do for Easter this year now my kids are growing up a bit.
