There is nothing better on a hot summers day than a scoop or two of your favourite ice cream. Have you ever tried to make it yourself? It is very simple and allows you to concoct any combination of flavours that tickle your fancy.

Have you been longing for chocolate and macadamia ice cream or how about banana and gummy bear, or maybe even pickles and tuna ice cream…. or not. But seriously, you can make any flavour you like and you don’t need any special ice cream making equipment! Ooh la la easy French toast

Bonjour! Ooo hoo hoo hoooo I am wearing my beret and my stripey top mon cherie. Good morning! You can wake up to a bit of French in your kitchen with this simple recipe for French toast. It really does taste better if you are wearing a beret, but if you don’t have one you can just sing ”Frere Jacques, Dormez-vous? Dormez-vous?’ on repeat. “Are you sleeping, are you sleeping”.. it’s a bit creepy if you sing it to someone while they are sleeping to wake them up. But I digress.

French toast is easy, fun, yummy and better than frog legs for breakfast. It’s so easy you can make it in a ”Le tired” state even before having a coffee in the morning! Read more…

The Best Festive Dessert

For the third entry in my continuing series of attempts at recreating some of the recipes from the Coles Christmas Magazine, I’ve turned a little sweeter. I’ve already claimed victory over Christmas Cocktails, and had a crack at the crackling, but now it’s time to move on to dessert and probably the most visually challenging recipe I’ve attempted.
