Wow did we have a great time with Jay from MasterChef when we met him for our team building exercise in July which you can read more about HERE! This post is about the Coles online Facebook friends with enquiring minds  who entered our competition to ask Jay from MasterChef a question.

 We had so many great entries so it was hard to choose but we picked 5 lucky winners who received a MasterChef Apron and a MasterChef Cookbook that was signed by Jay.

Cooking Day with Jay

The Coles online team were lucky enough to have a team building exercise with the one and only Jay Huxley from this season of MasterChef. We were all very excited, but nobody more so than Julie our Sales and marketing manager (she has a MasterChef admiration crush on him). We all gathered in teams to create 7 amazing dishes with the help of Victors Food and Jay.

It’s a bit of a worry when you find out that your work place team is going to be playing MasterChef. I mean, on the show if your dish is not good you get booted out of the show. I was hoping that this wouldn’t mean that we were going to get fired if our dish was sub par; “Pack  up your desk and leave, you are not the Coles online MasterChef”. Coles staff members are foodies to the core after all! Luckily that did not happen!

macaronMasterChef is in it’s final week, and once again has proven to be one of the most popular shows of the year. No doubt it encourages more people to get in the kitchen and start trying some new dishes and techniques. I am no exception.
