My mother always told me “things may not look nice from the outside, but it’s what’s inside that matters”. This certainly applies to this dish. Perhaps I am not a MasterChef in my presentation skills, but throw all of the ingredients together in a pan and this messy spaghetti will taste great in your tummy.
This meal is easy and fast because angel hair spaghetti is so thin that it cooks in around 2 minutes. Try this at home and make your little angels beg for more!

Christmas is such a wonderful time of year that is filled with festive food that we look forward to eating. Eggnog is a traditional Christmas drink using raw eggs and nutmeg as key ingredients. Usually it is just body builders who drink raw eggs, but at Christmas time everyone can drink them in a delicious form. Perhaps that is why our friend Santa is so muscular. Most people probably think Santa is fat but I’m sure he is just really muscley from drinking so much eggnog.
Eggnog is a really simple recipe that is nice to get the kids to help you make. This is a good opportunity to teach the kids how to crack an egg too (we all know how long that takes to master).

I am a born and bred Aussie, so summer BBQ’s have played a big part in my upbringing. As a child I would love those balmy nights (minus the mozzies) having a BBQ out on the deck with the family. Dad would cook up a storm on the BBQ and Mum would whip up some amazing salads – of course Dad would get all the praise about what a wonderful meal it was! Read more…
